GO-KART
/ QUAD TRACK UPDATE Pictures can be found on the
PHOTOS page of being brought in for the go-kart track.
Most of the dirt is down on the track, graded and ready for racing.
When the track is prepped, we will e-mail a photo to all on
our Go-Kart/Quad e-mail list. Send us your e-mail if you want to be on
that list.

FALL
2003 UPDATE! Here is the
latest news about Millstream Speedway. Yes, we have been working hard
throughout the summer at the racetrack. We have accomplished many
projects, but still have more to do. We are committed to reopening
this racetrack to the great racing that it used to have. We had some
cars out to the track to do some testing -- like that track prep?

Happy St. Patrick's Day !!
to all the race teams and fans. May the luck of the
Irish be upon all racetracks as they begin to get the tracks ready for the 2003
season. They say, as of mid March, that the frost is 30" down.
The Findlay Mall Show was held on March 7-9.
SPECIAL THANKS
to all the race teams who brought out their great looking racecars.
See photos of the cars and Award winners on the
Mall Show Photo Page
February
Update:
Just turned over the calendar and can't
believe it's February already. We had another 4 inches of snow at the track
(see pictures on the Photo Page),
but we keep plugging away.
January Update:
Well
this picture shows about all you could be doing out at the racetrack these
days. We took some pictures of the grandstands with all the snow --
they sure look cold.
December Update: Can't
believe December has come and gone so quickly. We have been busy out at the
track, no matter what the weather is. If it is cold or snowy outside -
we have many inside projects to complete. We went to the PRI show in
Indianapolis Dec. 5-7. What an amazing show. One thing we looked
at were new scales for the track. We needed newer scales that can offer
teams two special things - 1) outside digital display so all teams can see
the weights of everyone's car and 2) option to have your weights printed out
for setting up your cars.
November update:
This months projects include: Repairing Electrical boxes and
Lights, Repairing the Pit Side
Grandstands, Cleaning out main Pond, Repairing
Concession Building and much more. Look at our
Photo page for some Fall Quad racing on the big track.
October Projects ... Current projects include: Repairing the Pit Side Grandstands,
Laying out the Pit Area with cement dividers and Guardrail, Trimming Trees,
Cleaning out main Pond, Repairing Concession Building and much more.
September Projects ....
We are
finishing up projects around the Go Kart Track, including removing old
telephone poles and various wires that were in the old pits. We have added new photos to the Photo Album showing some of the projects.
Painting of the buildings continues. Cleaning out the concession
building and repairing some equipment will be some fall projects.
August Projects....
Several
projects are moving forward. Hoping to get the 1/8 mile Go Kart/ATV
track completed for some Fall racing.
We are moving some of the pit area cement blocks & adding some guardrail to
divide off areas. Painting has begun on the concession building. We
are cleaning out around the pond area (as the water is very low right now).
Other projects to come: removing old telephone poles from infield,
repairing all electrical boxes, replacing fencing and finish adding fencing
to front stretch poles.
July Projects.... This week we will be working
on: Painting souvenir/photo building, using the disc on the track
surface and push off area, dragging parking area, filling dumpster with old
fencing, digging trench for drainage pipe, etc.
June 2002.....We are excited to bring you the
Millstream Speedway website. We are working diligently to reopen the track
to the great facility we know it can be. Check the last updated banner
on the Home Page to see when the page was last updated. Thanks for your patience as we work
with some of the features on the website. We will add our site as a
link on many of your favorite sites once all the bugs are worked out. Stay
tuned for more photos, etc.
