FINDLAY, OH 6-14-10 by Bryan Autullo
Millstream Speedway will arise from the ashes once again for the first time in 2010 as the O'Reilly All Star Circuit of Champions return to the famed Findlay, OH speedplant on Sunday June 20th. The track has sat dormant since late 2009, but will roar to life this weekend as the fire-breathing winged 410 sprints roll into town on Night #3 of Ohio Sprint Speedweek. Also, the UMP Modifieds will bring their show to town in support of the Sunday night event.
Rich Farmer has been hard at work to prepare the track and facility for the large crowd that is expected this weekend as die hard fans from around the state will converge on 1/2 mile dirt oval to see some of the most talented sprint car drivers in the land compete for the $5000 top prize. All Star points leader, Tim Shaffer, along with Greg Wilson, Cap Henry, Bill Rose, David Gravel, and Jared Ridge will represent the traveling series as locals like Byron Reed, Brock Mayes, Craig Mintz, and Chris Andrews will do their best to steal the All Star loot.
Gates open at 3:00 pm with racing slated to begin at 7:00 pm. Ticket prices are as follows: Adults - $20; Seniors - $15, Ages 11-16 - $10; Ages 10 & under - Free. Pit Passes will be $30.
